Back to the shed thank god

Well I have finally found some time to get into my shed, with the wife going back to work after two years after our first, they say a baby requires a lot of maintenance bloody hell my wife required more when I think about it but she is all back to normal and out shopping with her first pay-packet.

Well we purchased a shed lucky enough a house came with it for the wife and bubs to live in and well after spending the morning cleaning it up well all I can say is #### me I have way to much room and this could end up being really bloody expensive with all the gear I am going to need

.

Big problem I have is no power to the shed your probably thinking the same as most when I tell them what is a shed that size without power even funnier it has a toilet and a shower head and waste all connected well at least I have running water

.

But after some digging around I found the conduit that leads from the house power board to the shed a large diameter grey one and a orange one both these conduits had wire in them obviously to pull the cables through but they have rusted and just disintegrated so not sure if I am going to have to dig it up hope not.

So I guess I am going to needs lights 10a 15a GPO's probably best to have its own switch board as well was thinking a couple 3phase points would be good as well but probably cost the earth to put in and run any ideas on the above would be good and approx costs if anyone has had it done

in QLD.

I need to find another sparky as well.

Also need shelving some benches a mount for the TV and foxtel lol I want this to be a real mens shed a place for the boys.

Anyway no good unless I show you some pics.

lol the C3 lathe and X3 Mill look so small in this shed maybe I need something bigger

Is that your tool box at the back of the shed in the first photo.

About 18 months ago my shed went up with electrics. If I remember right - 10 double outlets inside, one hangign outlet over the bench, one roof outlet for the hanging dust filter, two double outlets outside the shed, nine double lights inside and one external light, and shed breaker box; about $3K. Hope this is useful as a guide.

Jobs to do, Electricity, insulation, storage . . . my shed is too small . . . toys . . . comfy chair, tv, stereo, computer . . . fridge . . . my shed is way too small . . .

Time frame . . . how long is a piece of string

Are you talking about the little white frilly one or the big bastard in the corner?

The big box in the corner is a project I am working on well will start working on again real soon I hope its a 80w laser cutter well the case I built for it just need to start the internals and I need the X3 that I have CNC'd up and running to finish it so I have plenty on my plate.

Yep that certainly is a good help, probably wont need that many but then looking at Robs comments crap I need to really need to think ahead.

Well if I am going to insulate I probably need AirCon as well

not sure if insulating is really warranted in QLD but then it does get hot under a tin roof and would make the workshop look very respectable.

If I make it too snazzy though my mother will want to move in she already wants to change my other workshop under the house to a granny flat oops did I say I have another area as well.

Hmm me look after kid wife work more hours me have more money to spend hmm that string could get very long indeed
