The silent treatment
Have had manland (7x5m Fairdinkum shed) for about a month now. Made the mistake of moving stuff in before I had the wall lining up and adequate storage and a plan. So it's taken twice the amount of time to get stuff done.
However the wife has cracked it and I am getting the silent treatment because things don't happen quick enough and I was dumb enough to say my big wall unit with computer will fit in there! So now the pressure is on to move me out of house all together it seems...
Anyone else suffer these problems? Seems anything apart from ******* should take 5 mins!!!

I think you have a different computer program than me. I've got the "endlessly nag version 1" software. If you'd like to swap, let me know, I'd rather be psychologically pummelled than nagged.

Ensure a fridge is in the shed too, and maybe a heater at this time of year!

Sorry, can't help but giggle here
I am/was at the opposite end of that.
Himself got upset every time I wasn't there to wait on him hand and foot.
Got rid of him.
Now got my own workshop (well almost) and the current himself is my T.A.

The silence has been broken! With a list of things that need to get one.
A few of which will need very specialist tools I HAVE to have to effectively get the job done. There is no way I can remove a wall in the kitchen without a shop vac to clean up all the mess.

The Shed.
Hi Onezero,
You must have had better luck than we did with " That Shed Builder ".
I belong to A Mens Shed, & that Crowd started our Shed in Dec. 2011.
They are now just on the finishing stages & will possibly be Middle of June before we are allowed Occupancy.
Not sure how the "Other Sheds" fared, & I certainly wouldn't let them build my toilet.
Have to admit it had to be a Architectural Designed Shed, but it came down from QLD. as a Meccano set.Regards,
issatree.
