Stick storage
This is no doubt not a new idea, but perhaps some may not have seen it. I have a number of sticks that need storing and to be accessible, so a 20 litre bucket with several plastic pipe offcuts of different heights does the job.

This is my stickie storage, its basically a frame suspended from the ceiling.
It started out as a jarrah wooden frame to hold sticks up to about 2.5m long.
Then I add weld mesh extensions that effectively doubled it's size.
It was suppose to be for dowel and thin strips by As you can see Im using is for bigger pieces as well.
Just waiting for it to collapse on top of me

I put some plywood on one end of a baby pallet. It's over flowing. Not as elegant as your solution but being rectangular it works well space wise. Right now, I'm wondering if I really need to keep these sticks, because we are moving.
