Default Storage trays for my bench draws - 3D printed system

Nothing invented here just borrowed from the ideas already done really well out there.
The only thing here is I have settled on a 25mm grid with containers in multiples of 25 starting at 50x50

The grid is printed at 4x8 ie 100x200 and then glued together to form the larger grid for the draw

I have 3x8 and 1x8 grids to cover the full draw space.

The boxes all have the grid cut out so that they all just sit in place

In the picture is a 50x50 and a 50x75 tray

I decided not to print/include label placement as I can see what's in these, though down the track I might do a QR style label in the bottom so I can scan it for details when it's empty.

    Cheers
    Phil

Interested to know how long it takes to print one box - say the 50 mm square size?

Happy to post the STL files so others can give this a run.

It's a rare day i'd print a single and I normally print those in groups, a group of 5 50x50 by 60mm high containers takes just under 11hrs so so 1:50 per box.

The thing is the time for me, apart from printing a few hundred, just doesn't matter, I set my print sets up to get around 9 to 11hrs and then print a set overnight and another set whilst i'm at work, so 12x 5050 containers a day, 84 a week

In practice with the mixed sizings and the odd failure i'd say i get around 50 containers in a week ..... the reality is that a couple weeks running prints and i have all i'll need.

Also my printer is getting old and tired (bit like me) so it's not setup to be as speedy as some of the newer ones.

    Cheers
    Phil
