Default Upgrading electrical supply in shed - looking for decent electrician in Newcastle

I want to get some bigger circuits / sockets in the shed to run some decent size gear. Currently just have 10amp outlets.

I need one 15amp, and one 32amp (or 25 amp) outlet.

I've tried going through the phone book a bit, but either had lack of interest, very very high quoted prices, or been told things that ain't true / don't fill me with confidence. E.g. that 25 or 32amp outlets don't exist for single phase...

Or give a quote that is not for what I asked for despite being very clear about my needs.

I'd appreciate if any Newcastle or surrounding area members know of a reasonable electrician. I'm not looking for super low price, just someone who won't give me the run around.

A good mate of mine is an electrician. Send me a message if you'd like to have a chat to him.

My understanding is that anything above 20A SP has to be hard wired.

What is it you want to run at 25/32A?

25amp and 32amp single phase sockets and plugs are readily available.

A small CNC mill. And in future, whatever else.

The vast majority of the cost is getting someone to come and do it. Cost difference in materials is very little. So I just want the biggest I can get and to not have to worry about it again in future.

I don't know what your current electrical setup is, but are you sure your mains circuit board has the capacity to handle the extra current you're wanting in the shed?

Appreciate the replies, but I'm what I'm looking for is recommendations for an electrician who deals with a bit more than 10amp GPOs.

I'm well aware of the various issues and standards involved. I am however not a qualified electrician and thus cannot do the work myself.

    Sent you a text.

Craig Henshall has done a fair bit of work for me in the past, and is currently upgrading my supply to 3 phase. Reliable and works for a fair price.

One of those tradies you hang on to.

It is also worth including this option in the quote - would give you a lot of flexibility, if the cost was bearable. No skin off your nose if it's too high.
