I'm with you Tony. Since the missus started getting real frail I've taken on more of the domestic duties -
Dust and I have an understanding - I don't both it and it doesn't bother me :)

I leave the dust in my shed for a couple of reasons, one, when someone breaks in, they'll have their footprint or shoe size, 2, somewhere to write sizes or phone numbers.

I'd steer clear of venitians unless you like tedious cleaning, the frosted blind option is easier to keep clean and you can get self adhesive frosted window covering on eBay.
frosted film works well, I used it on the glass doors at the end of the shed.

My old man made some simple bifolding shutters on his windows in the shed, cost nothing and perfectly secure snd discreet. They were on the inside so easy to swing open in the daytime
