Humph, excuses. A bloke with a new shed and no power would be running power leads straight from the wires off the power lines outside if he had to just so he could play in a new shed.

G`day John not to be a pain but I don`t think your lathe is in the right spot in relation to the window I think the natural light will shadow your side of what you are turning.

Rule #1, always make sure that the tenon is the right size before removing the bowl from the face plate. Isn't that right Neil .

The shed looks good and I see what you have done in order to get some dust going on.

GJ, I won't be down for the WW show, so I can't do a measure up.

So you may have to do it yourself! I suggest you line the walls first (I didn't and regret it).

Send me the measurements and what material you prefer (19mm ply I suggest) and I'll bring it all down. Probably assembled. Or 16mm melamine.

Ready when you are, except for late Oct.

Good to see some soul being worked in GrumpyJohn. I know of sources of packing crate timber, floor to ceiling lengths, three quarter inch thick, five to six inch wide which could be used for lining. I can't tell if your shed structure can accommodate battens to fix lining or the combined weight but I think it would enable you to make better use of the walls for stuff and stop the shavings that have already built up on the frame, just a thought

Good Jeff, a bit of moral support, I thought I was going out on a limb suggesting things about, of all things, a persons' shed, but you got in first
