Well done all Great comp. Congratulations to all the winners and all the participants and all the organisers, and also to all the forum members that took the time and the interest to have a vote and support the efforts of all involved.
Wendy, is your box to store cards in?
And Funky, how are the prizes progressing?

Was it a wood problem? Let me know, hopefully will be at the get together, might be able to bring some more.

Congratulations mic-d, wongo, Ruffly Rustic, aussie and to all other boxers for the enjoyment you have given. From Funky posting the timber out, bubble rapped, through trials and tribulations to thirteen individual interpretations, thanks it's been a good trip.
Just a little aside, in appreciation, celebration and jubulation:

Congratulations to all the contestants and the organisers.
Amazing to see how each person has taken the material and made a unique piece. Who says woodworking isn't an art form.

There is really some amazing talent here. Fantastic work and well done. Gives me something to aspire to.
I chickened out and didn't vote, because I thought they were all fantastic.
Congrats to all.

I thank you for your kind words AUSSIE, but don't sell yourself short. After all, that entertainment unit was my first piece, finished in 2006. And that's all the work I've done right there on Picasa. I think one thing that a beginner should do is take some lessons, it gave me a real kick along. Nothing special about me, I just think hard about my design and always respect the line and don't accept near enough as good enough.
Cheers
Michael
