Wow. That's a lot of beginners. Good to see everyone having a go. Its good to have an objective and a deadline, I've found.

Yep, that's the idea. Is it possible that, had this been clearer from the start, we would have lost less than eight people along the way? This way everybody feels comfortable starting out but, as Aussie said, Wait till next time though! Of course, once somebody gets a gong (or decides s/he is good enough to compete with the grownups anyway) s/he is not a beginner anymore and everybody is happy. With all the different specialties of WW available, there are many opportunities for people to experiment.

Thanks Wendy for setting this up.

Well, a few pulled out 'cause they were sick and one pulled out cause he's moving and the rest...You'd think two months would be long enough

The other poll was really hard. This one is virtually impossible to pick from. I'm amazed these came from "beginners". They look pretty professional to me. Well done all of you.

Maybe too long FC and lost some momentum along the way. I think all in all it has been a great competition. Well done FC and all concerened.

Isn't it interesting? #2 got most of the votes here and yet nothing over the other poll. #7 got more votes at the other poll than here.

You mean #3 and #12 I suppose? I knew that numbers are not your forte...

IMHO there is a simple explanation: from experts you expect craftmanship, for beginners you value more originality

There are more choices for the Overall Favourite, there are less for the beginners and speaking for myself, the process I went through to decide on my favourite beginner box was different to the process I used for Overall Favourite.

I guess other voters may have used a similar voting decision process themselves. Who's to know unless they say so?

In the end, does it really matter?
