Thread: The Ballarat Swap.

Hi to all,
The Ballarat Swap Meet is on Friday 26th of Feb. 2010, at the Ballarat Airfield.
There is always something there for everybody. There is Sat. as well, not sure of Sun.
Yes, there is a lot of Rubbish there, but you just walk past it & concentrate on what you are after, & don't forget to Barter with the Stall Holder.
You need a good pair of Shoes / Boots or whatever. A Back Pack is always handy.
It is nearly always quite hot, & a Hat rather than Cap is required. Light Coloured Clothes are best as well.
It is a very long walk, if you can do it all, they say 27 K's. with 18 Avenues.
$10 Entry & there are 2 Gates. I like the one to the left. There is plenty of Food & Drink Vans there, a bit expensive, but you can't help that.
If you are not sure where it is, you Google, Ballarat Swap, & you will get a Map.
If you happen to buy something Big, there are Utes to take the Item back to your Vehicle & I think at a small charge.
May see you there, & I would never miss it, it is a great day. I have nothing to do with this Swap, I just like to go & you might like to do also.
