    Default Furniture exhibition- Toowoomba

    Hello all,
Attached is an invitation to a furniture exhibition I am organising in Toowoomba, starting next week, from the 21st September and running for three weeks. It's at the USQ on West Street, all welcome! The official opening is Wednesday 29th at 5pm, and Laurens Otto, master wood carver, will do the honours.
    Cheers
    Andy Mac

Should be very good. Frank does some nice work and is also very entertaining and educative. And of course, there's our very own Ruffly.
Could someone please ask David D if he ever worked in the Latrobe Valley? I once worked and occasionally sailed with a bloke of that name.

Wendy won't let me down, but her piece is a surprise...

Finished - Finally Now to wrap it in cotton wool, dress it in it's little yellow raincoat and send it to class - I think I should call it The Wire, cause I went right to it on this one finishing at two songs after deepest middnight

No, no broken legs, but I did do in a fingernail or three, does that count?

Must remember to charge the camera tonight too

And was well worth the wait, it is a delicate, finely crafted piece! How does "Fine Line" shoe rack sound to you Wendy?!?

    Cheers

I so want to post pictures, but I keep forgetting to ask Andrew first as I'd like to post pictures of all the works, if allowed.

    Default Gallery pictures

Here are a few shots taken of the furniture exhibition.
The first one is a gallery view, showing work by Mockmickey, Frank Wiesner, and a bit of Dean Timms, and Jon and Sue Jesberg.
Next are a couple of works by David Dyson, who works from Crows Nest with locally sourced hardwoods.

    More coming soon!
    Cheers,
    Andy Mac

Fantastic Cuttinglisters, looks like a wonderful variety of wood that's been used, would've loved to get up closer to see the details, well done to all, thanks for showing Andy
