Is it too early to start taliking about the Sydney show?

Don't think I'm going to make it this year. Too much going on down here at the moment. Got no money left either...

I am unfortunately in the same boat as Silent, having spent my tool allowance(play money) on books from Amazon, tools from Kiama woodshow and needing to save before attacking Lee Valley again. I think I'll stick to going every second year.

To everyone whom attends have fun and hope you find the right toys for the right price

I, the junior trogledite and mien frau shall be there. I in fact am about to go on 10 MONTHS paternal leave and the 2nd June is my last day of work

so assuming the 2nd is the start date, I shall attend on then and probably on either the sat or sun too.

Hat shall be worn of course.

I'm planning to go on the Saturday. I, like Pat and SilentC, have spent my tool allowance but I'm still going to enjoy taking a look.

I can't go on a weekday. Well actually I could, but it would be nightmare stuff. I quit work almost three years ago to look after my kids, my wife was earning way more than me, and so if I go during the week it will involve dragging a 3-year old and a 2-year old along with me. Not something I'm prepared to contemplate. I'll go on Saturday and my wife can look after the kids.
    Regards,
    Ian.

Fellas, being poor is not a good reason to miss the show. Just think about the fellowship.

Staying at home won't make you any richer.

Fuel was $1.39/l in Sydney this morning, so you're not that special Silent, you get ripped off just as much as us city folk.
Wouldn't mind going to the show and looking at thicknessers, just have to see what the Treasurer hands down in the next budget - and whether I am identified in the 'coalition of the willing' or the 'axis of evil'

If it's $1.39 up there it will be at least 10 cents more down here...

    I see.

I met a bloke the other day that had a "fellow" who drove him.

He has a "chap" to do most other things but a "fellow" to drive.

I'd be happy just to have a "chap' to stand in line to buy my train tickets for me.

    Cheers,

P (who mostly has a "pilot" anyway)
