The Victorian Festival of Woodwork
is held at
Manningham Civic Centre

The Festival begins with the opening of the Exhibition "In Touch With Wood" on Thursday 3rd April continuing to Sunday 26th April 10am- 5pm daily. Closed Good Friday,Easter Sunday and Anzac Day.
Two Forums will be held.
The first "Tree or timber types and their uses"will be held at the Heidie Room, Manningham Civic Centre 8 to 10 pm.

The Carnival Weekend will be 12th -13th April,10am to 4pm There are many clubs participating in varied activities.
There will be demonstrations of turning, carving,marquetry, furniture making, chain saw carving and scroll sawing. The Hand Tool Preservation Society will be present to tell you about old tools, and members of the International WoodCollectors will help you identify different woods.
Commercial stalls will have lots of things to interest woodworkers and the Wood Market will have a large range of handcrafted items at reasonable prices. BBQ, pancakes and drinks will be available.
