As new 2013 Felder CF741 single phase

I bring you “write down of the week” in which some poor sod has taken a 10k+ loss on a machine without getting much enjoyment out of it (depreciation+gst+4 years of storage at felder) and you have the chance to get a bargain! I reckon this could be negotiated further and would be a steal if you are in the market for top of the line combination machine. I spoke to Felder NSW who are acting as the buyer’s agent, it was used a handful of times and then put into storage at Felder’s workshop for almost 4 of the 6 years of its life.

Given its condition and the fact it has basically been in storage most of its life, I was somewhat tempted myself! However for me I feel that a 2.05m panel saw is sometimes going to leave me unsatisfied and I ultimately want an AD741+KF700 for layout reasons.

i seriously think this seller is in a bind, pros don’t want a combo and don’t want single phase and most hobbyists don’t have 25k burning a hole in their back pocket. However if you were looking at a tricked out hammer C3-41, I’d recommend you jump on this instead!

I saw this beast as I keep a quiet eye out for a C3. As you say, hard to imagine many hobbyists with that kind of space and money. Certainly out of my league but it does cause drooling.

I’ve seen this machine, it’s an absolute ball tearer, someone starting out on their own or with a big shed, it would be perfect.
