    Default 3 phase 2016 k700s for only 8k!

This seems like a good deal, if it was single phase I would be very tempted Used 2016 felder FELDER K700S sliding table panel saw Panel Saw in Guildford, NSW

When someone says Must Go, Closing Down, it gets me interested

I wonder if anyone wants to buy my three phase short stroke K3? Mrs P just gave me death look when I mentioned it so perhaps not. Investigate a single phase motor, I would be talking to Felder by now if I was thinking of buying it for a supply and fit quote.

I dare say if this current situation continues we will see a flood of deals on commercial equipment like this. Talking to a major Brisbane tooling and equipment dealer this week he said joineries and cabinet shops that were previously successful are already closing the doors.

Chris, I always had in the back of my mind the costs of accessories from Felder and figured something like that would be uneconomical...if it isn't then maybe that opens up some more options.

Barra, yeah I figure the same, many businesses and people are unfortunately going to get into a lot of trouble in the coming 6 months.

It never hurts to ask but a heads up, Felder quote + GST which does not impress me one little bit.

That doesn’t really bother me, all my day job I only ever talk in ex.gst so I can understand it, they just assume their customers are commercial. I’ve only had one real argument with them, which was their insistence that my bandsaw electrical issue was my power supply and refused to do anything unless I took the saw down to them. After putting up with it for a while, I fixed my new bandsaw (ex.demo model no less) with a new capacitor from ebay...

Is that a bin essentially on the outfeed side on the right? Seems like a genius idea

Serious saw. The best. Sorry to the bugger closing down his business.

I've got what most people think is a big workshop and I would be dubious about a 2.8 meter sliding table saw in it. Big panel saws are good for one thing, cutting panels and not much more because they are simply hard work to do much more on. A short stroke slider is hugely effective in a hobby workshop and they mostly will cross cut a 2400 sheet.

Qwertyu, yep that’s a common place to put an offcut bin.

Chris, that is assuming you don’t want to straight line rip the longest pieces you will work with, I personally think 2.5m is the sweet spot as that will do any table tops or shelves etc I would want to do and rip a panel. Each to their own though. I need a shed!
