    That is insanely cheap and to also still have the riving knife attached is extremely rare!

    This is the flip side of what people think they are worth, I bought one new back in the 1980's and it was great, but H&S in the UK stopped you using them on worksites.

    I bought a discounted floor stock 172 in the very early 80's with the full sliding table extensions like the link you provided, it was actually more expensive than buying a car at the time, around $2500 from Total Tools. I ended up straight away selling most of the sliding table assemblies for around $1500 from memory as it took up too much room, and many years later I also sold the saw and remainder for about $900 or so. They are a fantastic unit, and a joy to use.
