edit: this comment is about the SUGGESTED replacement item, not David's original for-sale branding iron....
this is the new low temperature version, judging by the photo of the person soldering while gripping the barrel

ok, I feel I will step in here because I perpetuated responses.
The original post went to an ebay auction. That auction has finished, so I can only assume that the item is sold. The item that came up for me when I clicked the link (but might be different for others) was just a soldering iron that was being noted as a pyrography tool - yeah, whatever, hot metal thing on timber. As you'd expect, it'll burn wood. And if you click through to the original item, it was a branding iron...
