Default Forged Steel Ratchet Clamps at Timbecon

Saw these clamps on clearance sale at Timbecon. They would seem to be exceptional value. Although they're probably more appropriate to the metal work community I would expect that there are members here who would use them. To give you an idea of value Total Tools sell the 200 x 100 size for $69.95 compared to the $25 that Timbecon have them available for.

I haven't used the Timbecon ones specifically, but I regularly use clamps that are similar, if not identical. All the components for making these clamps come from only a few factories in China and they appear to be very comparable to each other. They're excellent, hold the work well with minimal loss of grip even after heavy hammering, definitely better than similar screw type forged steel clamps. More than strong enough for virtually every purpose you're likely to put them to.

I ordered 4 of the 600x120mm ones yesterday morning and they turned up about an hour ago.

Look and feel identical to some others I have, apart from colour, I’d say they’ll outlast me going on the ones I already have
    Cheers

I've had some screw-down ones that I have been using as welding clamps for around 50 years. Although they are still functional, they are well-used.
Saw this yesterday and decided that I would replace them with 2 of the 100 X 200 clamps.
Ordered them around 11.30am yesterday, they arrived in the Blue Mountains NSW just before 12.00 today.
They seem very sturdy, well worth the $25 each. The delivery time was fantastic - shipped by Toll all for $9!

    Thanks to Aldav for posting.

Just received my order of 4x 200mm and 4x 600mm

Haven't used them in anger but they seem decent quality overall and a very good deal for the current price.

    Thanks for posting.

Out of interest, what is the bar size on the longer ones? I'm guessing 22mm x 10.5mm?
