    That's actually the third of these older C3's I've seen recently. I got a quote for a new one to compare - 16-17K +GST depending on spec.

    The other two were quite a bit cheaper, but this one looks in good condition. Note that it has the 'basic' spec fence, which has limited add-on/upgrade options.

    Note one cannot retrofit the Felder/Hammer helix blades. They are only available on new machines. I imagine one can fit an aftermarket kit: Spiral Cutter blocks - Helical Cutter Blocks

    Indeed - I had Ron Camilleri, NSW Felder's machine fixer man here recently, and he's fitted several of the Shelix heads to Hammer machines. There's absolutely no problem with fitting an OEM spiral block to the hammers - Felder just refuse to supply them.
