Single phase; 12 years old; straight blades (not spiral). Still tempting and if I was closer I’d think about going to have a look.

    Thinking hard about a K3 or a C3...

Seems a good deal for someone considering you'd not really get much change out of 20k to buy that kit new.

$20k? New Phaark Im out of touch with prices.

I saw an entire cabinetmakers shop full of gear for sale on one sales site for $30k, and there’s another with a big Biesse nesting router and all the other gear including a lovely Homag edgebander and an Altendorf F45 for offers around $50k, the router would have cost that.
Seems tough times have already come for some businesses, sure we’ll see more.

yeah - checked with Felder. 16-17K + GST.

Felder have made incremental improvements over the years - like the jointer tables folding up square rather than at an angle, and front lever adjustment for table height. I think there were issues with the saw fence that they also changed.

But still, a lot of machine for the money, if it's all in good working order.

    Sold (not to me).

I did enquire with Felder to collect, service and freight to QLD. They quoted $1500 which I thought was not a bad price. In that time talking to Felder someone bought it.

Apparently Felder will not fit a hammer spiral cutter to older machines though, you have to buy a shelix cutter and install yourself (or get another machine service to do it).

This is correct. Unofficial excuses along the lines of they already use everything their CNC's can churn out in new machines; very difficult to install and set up etc. I think the reality is that these machines last forever, so they have to find a way to get people to buy new.

Yes the technician did say it was to encourage people to buy new units.

He did say you can get the larger 2m slider and out rigger table for it though.
