Nuova Ginev is an Italian company that specialises in the manufacture of machinery for the shoe making industry. Not sure what this particular machine is for but I would be very surprised if it is designed to deal with wood.
Is it perhaps designed to take a sanding, brush or polishing head mounted directly to the bottom of the motor?
Found this, "Founded in 1949, their company began building electric motors and, since 1974, has evolved moving towards the manufacture of machinery for shoe repair, machinery for the footwear industry." Maybe it's only the motor that's Nuova Ginev? I can't find anything salient for the name Morielli.
And it's 415V, not 240V.
