    I will take the scotia plane at $15. I also like the sash moulding plane but worried about the damage. It looks like rot?

    There has been a strip planted on the fence side of the profile at some stage. It's not clear if it is an addition or a repair of that edge. Definitely not rot, most likely normal wear and tear.
