It always amazes me when I see someone trying to sell the whole lot as one piece. The only people who would need it are those who have nowt and are just starting....so don't really know what they need until they get going.

And when you see them advertised like that they usually expect top dollar for them as well. I have sometimes seen these type of sales and wanted one or two items and considered buying the lot and selling off the unwanted ones, but it usually works out that you would never get your money back. these deals generally hang around for ever.
I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

Just being curious, what do you think a second hand Hammer A3-31 should sell for?
I'm thinking about the future.... a warehouse/space and two people who want to join me in the making..... not right now, for my current "situation" limits this, but just Food For Thought....

You would have to be thinking of at least 2/3rds of retail as they seldom come onto the market and I am presuming anyone who has one would be unlikely to abuse it. The early ones had straight quick fit knives though and now the silent power head is available so that would influence the price. Three phase v's single phase would be another influence on the price.

You would only buy one with the Silent head. New, with the carriage lift, 2x 400mm extension table (and you really need two - thicky outfeed permanent and jointer infeed semi-permanent), and the "digital" height whatsit would probably set you back about $7500 I guess, so in really good condition about $4500-5500.

If its a spiral cutter single phase in mint condition (looks like it), probably at least 4.5k would be achievable I would guess.
I don’t think 11k is obscene initial ask for this package, but I’d be wanting to negotiate hard! How many people are going to rock up and drop that much cash for that exact combination of tools...but its actually pretty useful combo if all you have today is a table saw and benchtop planer and considering getting into bigger projects etc (sent it to a mate in exactly that situation).
My super rough guesses:
a3-31 4.5k
n4400 2.5k
af14 1k
morticer 1k
router table 1k
d4r 0.5k
clamps 0.5k

If the Hammer A3-31 has the now less-desirable straight blades (and not the carbide-inserts/spiral cutter), the price is about $2000 less - you cannot retrofit the spiral blades. Felder do not do this. And so all you can do is get an aftermarket kit from the USA. I am not sure what the current price is, but I paid $6600 for mine about 5 years ago (spiral blades, digital gauge, mobility kit). The table extensions are unnecessary. I have one and it lives on my tablesaw (Hammer K3).
I would pay 2/3 of new price for a machine in like-new condition. Then it become a value judgement.
I am not certain, but I suspect that the Hammer N4400 bandsaw is about $2500-$3000 new. I paid $2000 for mine about 9 years ago.
Cannot comment on the rest of the equipment.
I imagine that the Seller is aware that the equipment is unlikely to go to a single Buyer, so open to negotiation. If I were in his/her place, I might also first try for a single sale. So much less work.

Not that I want to wander off topic, but unless you know you will never want to joint anything over about 1200 long then you need an infeed extension for the jointer, particularly for any twisted sisters. Roller stands are really only useful for outfeed. A big burly mate can substitute for a jointer infeed, but they aren't always available, and usually consume too much F&B. (ozhunter - quite a large specimen - was here once, jointing some of his Spotty. I said press down here - just after the cutters - fairly hard. I couldn't push the bloody timber through.....)
A 400mm extension on the thicky outfeed reduces the amount of times you have to nip around to stop the (longer) jobs falling to the floor. Not essential, and I got by for 5 years, but now I wouldn't be without it. It stays on permanently, but the jointer table is removed when not required.
The one problem with them is the -poor design in the levelling mechanism. Scientifically designed to aggravate yer. It cannot be done accurately without a specialised spanner.....that doesn't exist. The technique relies upon trial and error which is ridiculous. When my adjusting bolt stripped I replaced it with a ¼" bolt which takes a 10-11mm spanner (rather than a 17mm which cannot be turned enough).

That could actually be an alright deal, if you wanted/needed all those things.
The current ex Brisbane prices of the two Hammer machines with mobility kits and digital gauge is right around 11.5K.

What’s the current n4400 price Barra? I agree, my rough guesses above says this is a reasonable price but when someone puts the word ‘urgent’ on their ad it basically means “make me an offer”!
I love my new bandsaw table extension, but yeah getting it setup is a job for a straight edge and a beer. I’d get two for the J/P, one for infeed and one for planer outfeed and they can spend a long and happy life there (I presume lifting the table with the infeed extension on is ok?)
