Stanley Type 14 smoother on Ebay (1929-30)
Bit of a bargain; $50 Buy It Now including shipping
Yes it's rusty but should do up nicely and just work better than any Stanly made since after WW2. No pic of the sole unfortunately so might be pitted but unless the mouth is really badly rotted away pitting makes no real effect in use. Even if the whole plane is cactus the front handle is worth $30 on it's own. The rear handle not sure; it does look a bit like the ones made in Aus but if it is in fact genuine rosewood then the wooden parts on their own are worth the whole asking price.Nothing succeeds like a budgie without a beak.

Update; now $85 so don't bother...
Hmmm... maybe he was following this thread as it has since been removed and relisted at $85
