Default Wood turning Captured Kobra styled hollowing rig

I have my Kobra type hollowing rig up for sale on Market Place. $275. Reason for the sale I'm down sizing and a lot gear has to go, as when we move the new workshop size is uncertain
It has a lot of engineering in it, all Aluminium is high tensile with hardened ground Allen shoulder bolts, nylock nuts with Teflon slip washer between each pivot link. Boring bar is high tensile 20mm dia x 340mm depending which hollowing head the depth of the bar will increase by at least 100mm. If the articulated boring head is used to its fullest extent, even more.
This rig clamped through the bed gap with two plates and I can supply longer bolts to suit your lathe. Also the height column is 400mm in ground stainless including fittings. If want the height will rise and fall through the clamping plates to allow for a longer bar. As I used on both of my lathes , they have a fairly large swing variation.Currently it can handle swings up to 400 mm or 800mm dia. Its in very good condition, perhaps now a little stiff with the lack of use. You may notice several grub screws are missing. It will with all the necessary screw and Allen keys [2], plus a few spare screws.
A point in the main image it show a step in the boring baring this no longer there as it was a pain for obvious reasons.
The Pro Forme shown is just for illustration to show any hollowing head can be made to fit easily and I can do that as part of the sale. There will be several tips/heads included and I will also supply an 8mm, 10mm Oland HSS tips that will fit the two heads supplied. The boring bar head has provision for a laser but is not supplied. I can supply but it would be extra and depending the cost of the laser it would be say $56-60. i dont convert laser pointers as I use only industrial lasers , so please dont ask.

    Default additional images

    Here additional images.
I can post to any where in Oz if required. But if you live local you drop by and have a play with it. although I have job in the lathe they at I cant remove till the hollowing is complete s it will be pierced and the wall thickness must be spot on.

The height column has a bearing fitted to the top to allow 360 movement and the rig can be folded back on its self for tight spots.

ok I might just have enough bits on hand for a laser set up. As I have built a few over the years
