    Default New to Pyrography

    As the title says.....want to burn letters approximately 7 to 10 mm high....what pen nib can be recommended? Regards AL

    Hi Al
    It depends on the Font Style you want to achieve I would use a ball stylus , that way you could emulate writing but if you wanted square boxy letters I would use a suitable sized Skew type of pen .I use a Razertip burner

    Like madcraft said it depends on the type of pyrography tool you use ; I use both a razortip and a solid type tip machine . For burning of that size i would use my solid tip and the nib i would select is a writing one that is recommended for calligraphy . 2 years ago i had a commission requiring letters of 150mm high and that is the tip i used and it worked well.
