Leather Sandals
Hi All,
I have a pair of Hush Puppies leather sandals with rubber soles, which have had little use over the years, but are favourites of SWMBO.
With that in mind, I am expected to look after them.
Recently I got them dusty/dirty and washed them under cold running water to freshen them up, and dried them in the sun. Well, they appear to have curled up a bit.
How can I restore them to new looking?
I was thinking of applying some 'Leatha Phane' which I have, and put them in a plastic bag to soak in and relax the leather. But, I am concerned that the treatment may affect/discolour the leather - there really isn't enough leather to try the treatment on a small sample. The leather colour is a two tone distressed dark look.
The question is, will 'Leatha Phane' discolour the original colour of the leather? And would this be the right product to use for this application?
Any help or ideas appreciated.

Leatha Phane should be ok. It may darken it slightly but anything you put on probably will.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

Bit the bullet, and used Leatha Phane with good results so far - no discernible difference in colour.
