Saw case
For years, I’ve kept my handsaws that I use in a canvas bag that I bought as an apprentice, it was all that was available back then, but it’s never been very good because it absorbs moisture and they always need cleaning up. I’ve been thinking about one of those bags that are available from Woodworks book company but they are too short for most saws, so I commissioned a friend, who is a pretty cluey and serious hobbyist, to make me a bag. I left the design elements to him, I just took him a few saws to get the sizing right, and away he went. Got it back yesterday, and it looks pretty bloody nice. It’s made from Water buffalo hide, with another thick piece in the bottom to stiffen it up. I reckon it will last a fair while.

Nice looking carry case!
Pretty decent friend to have and nice material used. Did it set you back much? How many saws can it hold?
Some pretty fine examples of chisel and saw holders on this forum

Very nice. The only thing I'd change, is those Sam Browne studs are a bit of a pain to close when there is nothing behind the leather to support them, especially when you have 4 of them to do. I'd probably use spring snaps or just a zipper instead, but other than that it's nice. Lovely leather this
