    Default Stitching pony

Anyone got plans for a stitching pony?
Any suggestions on size, materials, jaw materials, tightening mechanism.
I've been trying to find information from books, Google etc.
    Any help appreciated.

One thing I will say, try and avoid sticky outey bits. I just have a carriage bolt with a wing nut to provide clamping pressure and if I'm stitching a larger item there is a lot of spare thread flying around every time you pull the thread through a hole. It's not really a problem but can be annoying if the thread is constantly getting caught on the pony.
I'll get around to making another one and make it streamlined.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

    Tabletop version? Yes sure
This is the one I made

Mine is made of solid timber but I've made plans and instructions how to make it out of plywood on a leatherworking forum here:
    Hello from Melbourne, Australia - Page 2 - Member Gallery - Leatherworker.net

keep in mind this is not my design, a bunch of people sell those on etsy and this is where I got the idea from, I just made some some improvements and changes of my own.

    Enjoy.
