A win for the underdogs.
My wife works in a big hardware store in a particular department.
Recently she came home complaining to me about one of her bosses who was apparently intimidating her and other co-workers in the department with snide sexual comments and degrading pet names. The offensive behavior was not just directed at women but also younger lads who the bully knew were not experienced enough to fend for themselves.
After about a week of,
"Nasty boss said this to so and so and is still calling me this".
I'd had enough of hearing about it and said to wifey,
"Well it's about time you stood up to the bloke". If people start acting badly and no one stands up to them then they have free reign and things can go really bad.
So we formulated a (verbal) counter attack which wifey agreed to deliver to her boss....in front of his boss once she had asked them both to step outside to hear.
Wifey went off to work next morning all fired up but very nervous about the upcoming showdown.
She came home that afternoon with a grin.
I asked her if she stuck to the plan and how it went?.
Yes, she stuck to the plan alright. Took her boss outside in front of his boss and told him his behavior was totally unacceptable, illegal etc.etc.
"And then what happened?", I asked.
Well my boss just burst into tears like a crybaby! she triumphantly replied.
I laughed so much I near cried too.
Needless to say the bullying has stopped.

Hey, I'm not a feminist. No way, not me.
Just can't stand bullies of any sort, especially in the workplace.
Guess that's why self employment is my thing.
