My Names
Hi, I'm a newbie here and it has been many years since I used a lathe. My name here is the year of my lathe from the posted serial number info.. For those who view other places I am BMWFatherFigure on Bimmerfest and MINIFatherFigure on North Americian Motoring.
Those names came about because my daughter calls me 'Father Figure', as every child needs one.
I got my lathe to allow me to do more tasks in relation to my vehicle restoration projects.
Regards to all, Colin

Beryls and stuff
Ok, so the name I use reflects one of my other hobbies. I collect crystals. I have an aquamarine, which is one of several varieties of beryl, in the collection and it just came to mind to use it when I joined. I added the "bloke" to remove any confusion (in other peoples minds ) over gender. My wife found the aquamarine photo that goes with my posts.
Cheers
