Blacksmithing Demonstrations all weekend
Come down to the Locomotive Blacksmith workshop this weekend at Australian Technology Park, Eveleigh and watch the power hammers pounding and the hot metal manipulation.
Absolutely free to watch and a great thing to show the kids as a real piece of Australian industrial heritage.
Young Leila Haddad will be demonstrating, as will members of the Australian Knifemakers Guild, Artist Blacksmiths of NSW, and The traditional tool group.
Come down and see what blacksmithing is all about!

Your workshop looks a little different from when I was last there doing a Damascus course with my dad and brother.

The pic was taken at the Sydney show presumably (although looking at the time of the post she must have started early?).
From all reports it was a ripper of a day. Better get down and check it out tomorrow if you can!
