stainless steel piece
I cut this out of stainless and it been suggested I should look at casting it. Sounds good but my knowledge is pretty poor on the matter.
What is it? its buckle 40x80x6 in 316 stainless, I gahter casting stainless is a bit of a contract, but it would need some material of strength, not the cheap diecast stuff we see from China.Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working. — Pablo Picasso

Looks good and with a polish it will look great. As for casting, it depends on the quantity you want, but for small runs the lost wax method might be viable.

What sort of material would you suggest for the casting?
