My laker
well I have made a start but need to wait for another sheet of ply (thought I had 3 ) So having cut out most of it I figured I would coat some of them with poxy while I wait. At least its a start who knows when it will end

Pete, you need to get it done - it's a great boat.
I've just had my Laker in the water for the first time today and although there are still a few bits and pieces to finish off it's practically done. It's light, tracks well and is stable - although stability rating is very subjective.
Where in SA are you? "Outer reaches" is a bit vague, but I presume there is some water nearby?Cheers, Bob the labrat

G'day Pete,
Mate, You really need to finish this boat. They are brilliant little kayaks and well worth the effort. I bloody LOVE my Laker.
