Hi TK1,

Yep been down that path,

Message: Hey Guys, I would like a boat for sedate paddling with a friend, a
boat to give the kids a thrill and a boat to pothole fish and be reckless in
on my own. Also a work of art. My area is expansive estuary (Swan River WA)
and coastal. So an ability to eat miles is mandatory. My thoughts are micro
bootlegger with the trimaran Kit ! Woohoo ! I think of all the boats the
micro has the best front end for a trimaran. My main question is could you
provide some figures to put some rocker in the hull ? Not enough to spoil it
solo but enough to make it tack better with the cat rig ?
Hull shapes optimized for paddling efficiency are always at odds with
sailing performance. As a practical matter there's no way we can
redraw the hull without starting from scratch.

That said, the MicroBootlegger has enough performance to spare that I
think it will make a very good trimaran conversion right out of the
box.

It's not as pretty, but the best subject for a trimaran conversion in
our entire catalog would be the Chesapeake Sport Tandem:
