Most bandsaws have ordinary to useless dust collection. Start by removing any Grilles inside dust ports. Then as already stated , improve ventilation to the bottom cabinet by adding vents. The key to reducing fine dust output from any tool is sharpness and bandsaws are no different.

I have the Hammer N4400. I would say dust collection is good. The cabinet hose fitting is 125 mm but oddly (stupidly?) the cutout in the cabinet was only about 110 mm so I opened it up to 125 mm. I have thought about opening it further to 150 mm but I don’t think it really needs it. I also have an overhead pickup point near the blade but it doesn’t seem to do much. I don’t mind a few chips left on the table after use - if I can see them and sweep them up with a brush and pan, they’re not in my lungs or floating around the shop.

maybe, but all I know, there was dust escaping around the door, and i put the rubber sealing tape around, and it stopped coming out from there and went into the two extraction hoses and was gone. So I figured it worked ok. There’s still a big gap between the body and the table for air to be inhaled into.
