Default australian portamill "the little ripper" bandsaw mill

I believe the Portamill and Little Ripper are two different devices.
The Little Ripper is attached to a stationary bandsaw and used in a shop. On a typical 14 inch saw, a 1/2 inch 3tpi band will do well
The Portamills are attached to the log and used in the field.
These use a chainsaw for cutting.
    Which one?

thanks for the reply the portamill the little ripper is an Australian portable bandsaw mill made for Bush milling in remote locations similar to the Laidlaw mill. I know of the wood working attachment you are referring to for a vertical bandsaw and it is not what I am looking for. the portamill little ripper is much rarer and I am not surprised that most people have never heard of it or seen one.

I use a Portamill with a 50mm 1.5 TPI blade driven by a Honda 5.5 Hp petrol engine via an adjustable chain drive. This machine has been used for many years and does an excellent job considering the small motor. Just fitted some new 50mm 1.5 Tpi blades from McDivens Vic. at only $39 with the photo shown cutting a London Plane log. Whilst I do not have a manual these machines are very straightforward and easy to adjust and maintain but seem to be better suited to 50mm blades rather than smaller sizes. Did get the wheels retired about 5 years ago and each year the roller bearing guides are replaced otherwise it just runs without issues.
