Auxiliary fence
When resawing wide timber, say for door panels, it is difficult to maintain the correct thickness. If you hold the top of the piece against the auxiliary fence it will flex a little, enough to make the panel thicker at the top than at the bottom.
This was my attempt to fix the problem. I fixed a small featherboard to the top of the fence, and used a magnetic one at the bottom. This leaves me with two hands to manage the timber.
