Arrow Band Saw Circle Cutting Jig

    Hi Woodies and Borers LOL,
Anyone out there that wants to cut a perfect circle on a bandsaw? Do you want to cut lots of them for different situations and various sizes?

Well if you answered yes to any of these,,,,,, Then,,,,,,, this may be of use to you!!

It can be made out of any 10mm or other thin material that is suited to your own bansaw as YOU make it!

Maybe its been posted before so then please give me a pardon,,,, but maybe it hasnt.

Heres a graphic of it. One is to fit the comp screen and another is a larger pixel size to give more folk out there who have eyesight problems. lol

Oh well here goes,, it may take a minute or to to load so be patient for a moment.

Its a little bit crowded and complex but is quite simple in design. I use it and its one COOOL JIG for me! Jig A Jiggy now Im getting ready for some JIGGY fun! ouch Sorry my wife just read this POST!!!!

    Default Detail Diagram

    Jig shown on its own!

Oh by the way! I got another idea for the sliding pin that centres on the timbre blank so as to allow for it to turn and thus cut the circle.

I mentioned a sliding one. It may be easier for you to cut a channel rebate. Then get some velcro and glue this to the inside channel face that you just cut out. Next cut a timber piece to fit the dimensions of that channel.
Hammer at one end a nail sharpened to a fine point. This is now you needle pin. Once done glue the opposing velcro mating piece to this timbe with the nail.

You have now a adjustable channel piece that can be positioned at various points that will in fact be very secure! You know how velcro grabs???? lol

This is your simple adjusting device to allow you to change diameters at will. Set it with rule at say 50 mm and you will get a perfect 100!!!!! lol

That means 100% Boss! Your in control now Mr Woodie! Have fun!

I'll post some more diagrams and a photo!

I HOPE I'VE MADE MY SELF UNDERSTANDABLE!!!! lol

    Umm...I'm missing something here...

I can't read any of those pics. Ive downloaded all of them and at normal resolution they are way too small. When I start to zoom in it becomes so blocky that its impossible to view....

I'd love to be able to see this....any ideas?

    cheers
