Default Band saw Rip Fence From Carbatec

    Hi
I was wondering if anyone has purchased a bandsaw rip fence from Carbatec they are advertising them for $99.00 and saying they are premium quality.
If I could get some feedback please on the rip fence that would be great thanks

If this is the one you are looking at

    Professional Rip Fence : CARBA-TEC

then I can recommend it. I bought the same fence from Timbecon (they had it on special) when I had my BAS350 bandsaw and was always very happy with it.

Having said that if I was to buy a bandsaw fence again, I would probably go for this one

    Kreg® Precision Bandsaw Fence & Accessories : CARBA-TEC

I saw this one in operation after I bought and installed the other one and was temendously impressed with it. Bit dearer though.

My thoughts exactly Fred. I have the Carbatec one and no complaints but it is fairly basic. I would probably go for the Kreg next time around.

I've got the carby one on the bandsaw I got and its fine.
I don't even have to put my glasses on to read the scale.
    quick and easy to use.
Only pain is my square won't go back far enough as it hits the rail for the fence.

Fly, if you mean the mitre gauge, I filed out the rail to accomodate the gauge. Works fine.

    Yeah that thing.
But it only hits if I cut less than 5 inches or less, then the fence gauge is far enough away to pull it all the way back.
