New Bandsaw
Hello again...
Wow... Has it really been a whole year since I last poked my nose in to this forum..?
Have spent time travelling in the new caravan since I retired from work last year, and now back home in the shed again...
With a new bandsaw added to my collection of under-used wood machines...
It's a BS-350 14" Ledacraft.
Brought it home last Tuesday from Ledacraft in Adelaide.
And so far it is still in its wrapper..!!
And there's a good reason for that.
Poor forward planning resulted in there being nowhere to put the damn thing..!
So have spent days re-arranging and chucking stuff away...
And it now has a home.
Mind you - the rest of the shed is a tip...
Hopefully, I will be un-robing the beauty sometime over this weekend and installing all the bits and pieces (heavy bloody things, aren't they..?)
It is pizzitivly possing down here in the Hill at the moment... the first day of two days of forecast rain... we have a creek running in the back yard... mud glorious mud...
Can't wait for the big switch-on...
JedoWhen all the world said I couldn't do it - they were right...

Hey Jedo...I have similar anticipation down here in Hobart with my new router table and router. Wwwhhhoooooeeee. Similar situation with garage, too. Too much stuff, not enough room. Life's good.

shall we all compare planning issues bought one of these from last years show torqueworkcentre.com and it took me just under 9 months to get it in the shed although I did meet someone at the WWWS show who bought himself a felder and thats close to if not a whole year still in its packaging (right Kev?)
Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything, but they
bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs .

I hope you have had some time to actually use your bandsaw by now. I am contemplating buying the
Ledacraft bandsaw you have. Do you have any feedback on this machine - any pros and cons I might think about?
