Question Bandsaw Blade folding 5 coils

    Ok guys,

It is common practice to coil your bandsaw blade to store it. The method I use is the same as the videos that are available see here for one

    But.

The last order of Bandsaw Blades I got from Henry Brothers they had them coiled 5 times!!!
So they packed up really small.

I'm about to call them and ask, but though i'd give the fourm a shot first...
Any one know how to get that extra twist?

    Cheers
    Steven

Coil it as per usual to get 3 loops. Twiddle the loops 'til you have two tiny and one big one about 4:1, then repeat the folding process on the big 'un. It helps if you twist-tie the little loops first... and be careful, 'cos the tops of those two are effective knuckle scrapers in the 2nd fold!

I tried it on one of my big blades (too long for my current BS... ) and it worked with a bit of hassle. Don't know that I'd want to try it on my normal blades though...
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Skew, I'm going to try that in the morning.... sounds about right, now i'll be able to keep them in a draw out the way.

    Cheers,
