    Default Bandsaw keeps cutting out.

Not under undue load. Goes for a few minutes then stops. Goes again if I repress the button. Its a Schapech I bought 2nd hand. Obviously the reason he sold it I guess. So what are possible causes? Over heating? Stuffed capacitor somewhere? Motor to small? Switch shorting?

Default I'd start by bypassing the switch and see what happens...

if it still does it then...it's not the switch...

It could still be the switch, gunk may have got in there and after a few minutes the solenoid warms up and can't hold the magnetic breakers closed so it turns itself off.
If you can open it up a blow out with compressed air might do it.

I had the same problem with my Woodfast took the #$%^& Chinese switch and threw it in the bin where it belongs replaced it with a "propper" Clipsal item, problem
fixed, that was 3 years ago, also now when I want to use it I don't have to open the stupid little flap

AM I have had mine now some years and had the problem only one or twice where it seems to trip the safety power board to many thing running at once. (damn modern house power) I have cleaned it (the switch) once and no problem since. There is a chance it could be a faulty micro switch for the door being open. There is an overload (if your pushing to much through) cut out fitted to them also.
