Thread: Bandsaw DVD

1/2 a tub of dried up shellawax and a sniff of "EEE"

My 2 pence.

1. If is has a "copy" right it can not be coppied or redistrubited.
a. you can copy it for your self for a back up only.
b. you can not place in a public domain libary ( for other to view )
c. you can not transmit it over phone ( calbe, net, e-mail ) to another persion or show it like a movie and charge money for peeps to watch it

But there is not law aginst
A. you selling it. if you have a back up copy it must be distroyed or goes with the sale free of charge.

b. giving it away to a friend or just some bum of the street.

c. loaning it to a friend. if the law wanted to stop you here, just remember, if you bought a DVD, and the kids want to watch when you not home . what is the Diseny police gonna come take them away sence thay did not buy the DVD.

d. taking it over to a friends house, relaxing and watching it together, by the fire, with champagne glasses in your grubby sawdust covered hands.


This might help all your guys ( and maybe gal ) out there that are not sure

I have seen it cheaper, and i'll probly order it, Im to far a way from AZland for a visit form grubby sawdust covered woodies

I have watched, and admired the skills shown on this DVD and now aspire to be 1/2 as good as this guy.

I have advised Sprog who is just up the road from me that I will be posting it to him tomorrow for his perusal.

Thanks for your generosity Brudda in allowing us to share this DVD.

I will be at the Perth WWS next weekend to purchase a couple sizes of blades for my BS.

The DVD is curently holidaying in sunny South East Queensland, brisbane southside.
Now who has seen it and who is next.
I need to watch it at least once more. Very well produced, content good, audio clean simple & clear, lighting excelent, camera work very good.

Must use that band saw more.

Slightly off subject but I fitted a new blade the other day to my bandsaw
1/2" but with 14 tpi you could describe the cut after comming off the b/saw as clean as a whistle and no jointing would have been needed. (4"timber)
I had been cutting some tenon cheeks and was too lazy to change the blade back to 3tpi.

Still fuguring out the itenary of the touring dvd.
