G'day,
After travelling around the country side like the Leyland Bros, the DVD has arrived at my joint. Next stop on it's journey on Monday is to TonySA.
Thanks Brudda for the loan.

I must be a masochist. I have been to 'A City Book Shop' - lets call them 'Stupid Cow' to avoid being sued. Twice.
First time - go to 'Special Orders'. Get told 'We only sell SBS videos'. Point out there is a shelf of Taunton woodie DVD's & I want the Bandsaw one that they have sold out of. They search their database & get told it doesn't exist.
Get on to Amazon, print out details page with ISBN.
Go back to StupidCow. Get same smarta###, same smarta### remark - We only sell SBS etc. Produce details. He goes out the back to Bosslady - they discuss how they have stuffed up the computer entry etc, thinking customer can't hear. Come back out - can get it in a few months, pay up now etc. I tell him not to bother.
Go back to Amazon, now THEY claim they can't get it. Go to Taunton site, order DVD no trouble, but buy a bunch of other books & DVD for 30% off. Oh well......

Brslee, your sense of humour brought a smile to my face, could you write a letter to one of my tool suppliers

Hi Outsider
Been one disaster after the other but now fully online again.
Never seen anything like it ever, some of the caps on my m/brd decided to go bad. Decided not worth replacing just the m/brd so had total upgrade CPU, m/brd, RAM/ Took a couple of weeks to get things together. Pricey little suckers, hence the delay.
Yeah the DVD made it, send me your address by private message and i'll put it in the post for you.
Either its my dvd player or its the dvd but i can't get past the first half.
Hopefully you'll have better luck than me.
Cheers
Tony
