Bandsaw Guide Maintenance Question
I have a Meber 600 that needs some work on the Euro style guides and thought it sensible to ask first before taking to them with too much vigour. My question: what is the best way to go about removing the side wheel and thrust bearings from their inner guide bush? I imagine there is a retaining circlip or similar buried inside the bushing but I'm not too sure and I don't want to get too brutal with them until I know how it best be done. Would also appreciate any guidance on the best lubrication to use upon reassembling them after cleaning.
Thanks in advance

Using seales guides like rubber would probably minimize on the issue of gumming up of saw dust . Best way is to clean them regularly, thorough brushing with solvent.
