    Default Bandsaw Purchase

    Looking for some feedback please on a Bandsaw Purchase. Looking at the Carbatec BAS 350. Has anybody got this and what is it like. It has a massive table measuring 547 x 403 mm. Is their any other machines comparable or better in quality for around the same price. -$700.

    PS this is my first Bandsaw.

    did you get your bandsaw - you didn't get too many replies to your enquirey?

    I just bought this model and it seems OK although reading through some of the comments on this forum (after the event) and it looks like the other Carbatec model (1400) may be better. Still, the 350 does have a nice big table as you mention and I'm sure will do me OK once I work out how to drive it properly.
