In any case, the cost of having a blade "doctored" might well be more than the $12-$15 for a new blade (bi-metal and exotica excluded!)

The wandering is caused mainly by the "set" being upset by nicking a nail.
You may be able to get a little more life from the blade by:
1: Get a block of wood about 2 x 1 and about 8" long ( can't be bothered with metric).
2: An oilstone about medium.
The method. Hold the wood against the side of the blade and on the opposite side lightly apply the oilstone to take any high spots off. Repeat on other side.
I have done this on the odd occasion when I have no spare blades.
