    Default blade cutting problem

I've just fitted a new blade and I find after adjustment to get it running fine that when I make a cut the blade forces the workpiece behind the cut to pull off the fence and over to one side as it cuts. any idea what's happening as I can't figure and Iv'e done a readjustment of the guides. Help please.

It might seem like a silly question but, are the blade teeth pointing downwards? Sometimes it is easy to install a blade "up side down" I've done it, easy to check ~ with the power source disconnected move the top wheel slowly whilst softly feeling the motion of the teeth.

Yes it is the right way with the teeth pointing down in the same direction. Thanks for the link.

Grab a piece of pine board and run that through. Lay a ruler/straight edge along the cut and check for curvature - ideally there shouldn't be any.

Just because a blade is new doesn't mean it's good; if the teeth on one side have more set or are not as sharp as the other side, then the blade will run out like that. The fix? Send it off to be resharpened. (And find another source for new blades.)
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

bob, you would never guess it but you were right. The fence must of got a bump at some stage when taken off to change the blade. Thanks, it now cuts better than it did before now I've re-alighned it.
