Blade guide alignment issue on New BAS350B
Hi all,
I received a BAS350B 14" bandsaw for Christmas from my wife.
I have put the unit together however I have found that when trying to adjust the blade guides to 0.5mm off the left and right of the blade that the upper blade guide and guard assembly is out of alignment.
When the guard is lifted to it's highest position, the left blade guide is 0.5mm from the blade and the right is 2mm.
When I drop the guard to it's lowest position it's vise versa. The right guide is 0.5mm and the left is 2mm from the blade.
I can not see anyway to adjust or correct this.
Is this a big issue?
Should I call Carbatec?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as this is my first bandsaw.
Thanks in advance.

Hi
I have the BAS350 & it has the same issue, to me it is no big issue
I believe it is some flex in the steel frame as you tension the blade
it does not affect the saw unless you are changing heights all the time
Cheers Rod

Thanks Rod, I feel a little more comfortable now.
I did a number of test cuts today including a circle and wave shape and both worked ok.
Thanks
